Welcome to all Rhododendron members and visitors!

The North Island Rhododendron Society was founded by the late Harry Wright in October 1984.
It is affiliated with the American Rhododendron Society, and is one of seven chapters in British Columbia, including four others on Vancouver Island and two more on the lower mainland.

Our chapter is based in the beautiful Comox Valley and serves surrounding communities of
northern Vancouver Island.  All members and guests are welcome to join our monthly meetings in Comox.
We have various speakers offering informative talks, slide shows
and demonstrations. Our meetings are free of admission and include free refreshments.  
During  the summer months, we take part in excursions, garden tours, and plant sales.
